UCSB NanoFab Announcements

Stepper #2 AutoStep: Down

We lost a motor in the mask aligner. Vendor is being contacted for repair. The motor is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow morning. We will send out an email tomorrow when I have more information. // John d 16:45, 24 April 2018 (PDT)

PECVD#2 Upgrades in progress, Retraining required

Plasmatherm is still upgrading the system software. The user interface will be completely different from the previous software, so all users will be disqualified and will need to be retrained to access the system through Signupmonkey. We will schedule training sessions once the upgrade is complete. // John d 12:51, 24 April 2018 (PDT)

RIE#5 Up

RIE #5 is up for use, including SiCl4. // John d 11:45, 20 April 2018 (PDT)

ADT Dicing Saw: Intermittent Software Issue

One of the DB files keeps getting corrupted. We've restored the system back to the backup created yesterday afternoon and the saw is up and running. Looking into a longer term fix. If you created a new recipe within the last 5 days you may need to re-create it. // John d 21:43, 27 March 2018 (PDT)
